Hey All, It's been a while since I posted to this journal - or even looked at this page.  In fact, the last time I was around DevArt I was 21... which seems odd to me because I kind of figure I should have been less creatively productive considering how drunk I was.  Then again, I guess being a lush kind of goes hand-in-hand with being "artsy"... unless you're straight-edge... in which case I wasn't talking to you. So, if you haven't noticed, I've started to do a lot more B&W... I find this intriguing... I have a sort of unnatural attraction to the monochrome realm, which doesn't really fit me because I love color and all that it has to offer in the depiction of a given scene.  If anyone should have any tips on improving my eye, or my shots, in black and white, do share, because I'm certainly interested. So, we're ringing in the New Year in DC as we often do - wet and boring. However, tomorrow is supposed to offer a bit more sunshine, as well as Thursday, and I'll be taking Thursday to run amok and photograph "Urban" scenes for an upcoming hip-hop show in the first week of February.  I wish I had more to offer on details for that, but I don't really know much of anything except for what it will consist of (hip-hop), where it will be (Georgetown), an approximation of when (First week of Feb.), and who is participating in the organization of it... a truly splendid and supportive person by the name of Dame Coor.  (Dame has e-mailed me a few time
